Gaby was born in Jerusalem in 1966 and began her piano studies at age 6 with Prof. Sonia Valin of the Rubin academy in Jerusalem. Following her father's medical career, the family spent some time in the Cameroons, Switzerland, and finally settled in South-Africa when she was 17 years old. Gaby graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg with a B.Mus.(Hon) in Performance, where she excelled both as a solo pianist and a much sought after piano accompanist. Over the next few years she accumulated extensive experience as a soloist and piano accompanist and corepetiteur both in South-Africa and Israel, where she specialised for a while in vocal coaching.

Gaby relocated to Perth, Western Australia, with her family in 1999, where her performing career and her family continue to grow side by side. Since her arrival, her performance commitments have taken her from His Majesty's Theater in Perth, through various locations in Western Australia and up to Austria, France and Switzerland. She regularly performs as a soloist and a piano accompanist, and has established a piano teaching and vocal coaching studio.
